Eugene O’Neill Theatre Seating Chart
With its traditional style of seating, there is plenty of areas to choose where to view from. Grand tiers, stage seating and boxes, all which hold so much history and many memories of crowds and performers.
Take your pick from an incredible space that can hold up to 1,102 – the choice is completely yours, perhaps you prefer sitting up close to the stage to catch every note of the music and every detail to the scenes or a more wide view of the entire theatre, so one of the tiers is best suited.
Most guests’ choice of seating comes down to the two main sections:
The Orchestra level
On the ground floor, the orchestra is generally the most expensive ticket in the house. If you prefer to be close to the stage and catch every detail, it’s ideal, with unobstructed views and easy access without steps.
The Mezzanine level
Up 25 steps from the orchestra, the mezzanine provides a wider view of the action from a raised vantage point. Please note that there are generally two steps up or down per row. This is a great option if you prefer a higher seat — or if you’re hunting for a bargain ticket.
Inside, the venue combines the historical with the modern. You’ll find classic theater decor mixed with cutting-edge tech for a fantastic show — no matter where you sit.
The Eugene O’Neill Theatre accessible seating
Accessible seating at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre is located on the orchestra level. The venue has options for wheelchair access, aisle transfer, companion seating, and vision or hearing assistance, all of which can be arranged in advance through the box office.
There are no elevators inside the building. That means the mezzanine is generally not accessible-friendly, although all stairs are equipped with handrails. For accessible restrooms, patrons can use facilities at The Time Hotel next door. Listening devices are available free of charge in the lobby for the hard-of-hearing.
The Eugene O’Neill Theatre VIP seating
There is no specific VIP section or lounge at the theater. However, exclusive seating options include boxes and central seats in the orchestra and mezzanine. These generally guarantee unobstructed, central views.
